Framed viewport shots
Rendering & lookFrame an actor in the viewport from a chosen angle and capture it, or grab a standard set of views around it.
What it’s for
Ask your assistant for a well-framed picture of something in the level, without moving the viewport yourself. It picks a camera angle, fits the object in the frame and saves a PNG of the viewport. It can also take a whole set of shots around an object or a point: by default, several perspective views plus top, front and side views.
Your assistant uses this to check what it just built or changed, and you get the same images to look at. To move the viewport camera by hand, see Editor and Play-In-Editor. For thumbnails of assets outside the level, see Screenshots and captures.
